Description

The Epix IPTV free trial gives you 24 hours of full access so you can test the service on your own internet connection and your own hardware before paying anything. It runs on the same servers, the same channel lineup and the same on-demand library that paying subscribers use. The only differences are that it lasts one day and allows one device to stream at a time.

No card details are required to start, and the trial does not convert into a paid subscription. When the 24 hours are up, access stops. Continuing is a separate purchase you make deliberately.

Why we offer a trial at all

IPTV performance depends far more on your own connection and device than most providers admit. The same service can look flawless in one household and stutter in another a street away, because of routing, bandwidth at peak hours, Wi-Fi quality or an underpowered streaming stick. No review, ours or anyone else’s, can tell you which of those you will get.

A day of real use answers the question properly. Customers who skip this step and buy a long plan outright are the ones most likely to be disappointed, which is exactly the outcome the trial is designed to prevent.

What to test during the 24 hours

  • Watch during peak evening hours. Servers are busiest between roughly 7pm and 11pm local time. A stream that holds up then will hold up any time.
  • Open a live sports channel. Live sport is the hardest thing for any IPTV service to deliver cleanly, so it is the fairest test.
  • Check the channels you actually care about, not just the total count. A lineup of 42,000 channels is irrelevant if the twenty you watch are missing.
  • Browse the on-demand library to see whether it holds films and series you would realistically watch.
  • Test on the device you will really use – a Firestick behaves differently from a modern Smart TV or a phone.
  • Try the EPG to confirm the guide data is populated for your region.

What the trial includes

  • Full live channel lineup for 24 hours, with nothing withheld
  • The complete video-on-demand catalogue of films and series
  • One simultaneous connection on any supported device
  • SD, HD and 4K streams where the source and your connection allow
  • EPG and catch-up where available for the channel
  • Setup instructions on activation, and support if a device needs configuring

Devices you can trial it on

The trial works anywhere the paid service does: Amazon Firestick and Fire TV, Android phones, tablets and TV boxes, iPhone and iPad, Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Apple TV, MAG boxes, Enigma2 receivers, and Windows or macOS computers. Most people use IPTV Smarters Pro, though any comparable player will work. Step-by-step guides for each device are on our installation page.

How to start

Request the trial from this page and we send your login credentials along with setup instructions for your chosen device. Activation is manual rather than instant, because each trial line is issued individually, but it is normally ready within minutes. If you have not received anything after a short wait, message our support team and we will chase it.

Common questions

Do I need to enter card details?
No. The trial is activated without any payment method, and there is nothing to cancel afterwards.

Is the trial a cut-down version of the service?
No. Same servers, same channels, same on-demand library. Only the 24-hour duration and the single-device limit differ. Testing a reduced version would defeat the purpose.

What happens when the 24 hours end?
Access stops automatically. Nothing is charged and no subscription begins unless you choose to buy one.

Can I run a second trial?
The trial is intended as a one-off test per household. If you need longer to decide, the one-month plan is the shortest paid option and does not auto-renew either.

Can I trial more than one device at once?
Not on the trial, which is limited to a single connection. Paid plans are available with up to five simultaneous connections.

The stream is buffering during my trial. Is that normal?
Occasional buffering on one channel usually points to that specific stream. Buffering across every channel more often points to your connection or Wi-Fi. Tell support what you are seeing and they can tell which it is – that is useful information whether or not you go on to subscribe.
